Read on for more.

Tap into Temple parenting power from the other side of the veil

Fear not: for they that be with us are more than they that be with them.

2 Kings 6:16

One of the main reasons you were sent to earth was to raise your children in righteousness.

But you are being attacked from all sides because of the importance of that work.

You don’t need to worry.

Your service in the Temple will give you greater access to help as a parent from the other side of the veil.

Help from the Godhead

Take heart, be filled with faith, and remember

the Lord has said He “would fight [our]battles, [our] children’s battles,

and [the battles of our] children’s children.

And what do we do to merit such a defense?

We are to . . .remember the covenant wherewith [we] have covenanted.

Jeffrey R. Holland

Our first line of defense is the most powerful.

As you make and keep covenants and help others to do the same you unlock the help of God.

Through the astonishing gifts of the Atonement of His Son Jesus Christ,

and through the Spirit of God burning like a fire, Heavenly Father sees and rewards your diligent efforts.

Help from your own family beyond the veil

[Elijah] shall turn the heart of the fathers to the children,

and the heart of the children to their fathers.

Malachi 4:6

Your family members on both sides of the veil care about what is happening to you

and your children here on earth.

They are deeply grateful for the diligent work you are doing to raise your children in righteousness

and for the Temple work you are doing on their behalf.

You are their saviors on Mount Zion.

Little has been revealed about just what your unseen family members are able to do for you from beyond the veil,

But because of their gratitude and love towards for your efforts,

you can be assured that they will do everything in their power to protect, heal and strengthen you and your children.

The Temple can help you be a better parent. You can receive help from the other side.

Help from hosts of heaven as a whole

Strengthen the army

I know that the promise of angels to bear us up is real. . .

The faithful are working as hard

or even harder in the spirit world than we are to move God’s plan along.

Our concern should be to perform the ordinances for the dead

so that they will not be held back.

Four Blessings of the Temple

Every time you baptize someone vicariously,

walk through the veil in someone’s behalf

or seal a family together,

you are unleashing another potential warrior who can fight on the side of the Savior.

They are fighting on your side.

That will reduce your load and give you one more friend with a sword of righteousness and a shield of faith.

True Temple parenting power includes enlisting help from friends in high place.

Build a community of angels who love your family

I believe we move and have our being in the presence of heavenly messengers

and of heavenly beings. . .

They see us, they are solicitous for our welfare . . .

Their love for us and their desire for our well-being

must be greater than that which we feel for ourselves.

President Joseph F. Smith

Whether those you serve in the Temple are members of your family or not,

you have made a profound difference in that persons eternal life.

Keep it up!

The more Temple service you give,

the more help you will have access to as a person, as a parent and as a family.

Serve in the Temple: Receive parenting help from the other side

Have angels ceased to appear unto the children of men:

Or has he withheld the power of the Holy Ghost from them?

Behold I say unto you, Nay.

Moroni 7:36

You are part of a team, an army, your eternal extended family.

And the rest of that army cares deeply about you and your family,

and can be your first line of defense in the battles of the latter-days.

As you serve in the Temple, you earn the right,

and the responsibility to ask for help from every possible source

as you do the vital work of raising your children in the “covenant path.”

So serve, ask for help and then stand back and watch for the help to come.

Through the Temple, parents will receive help from the other side.
